Aspen Custom Trailers is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support existing and new clients in parts of Western Canada. You will be selling our line of heavy haul trailers and transporters to clients across all industries including specialized transportation, forestry, mining, construction, oil and gas.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships in your territory. You will work closely with Aspen’s Sales Engineering team to quote on new sales opportunities. You will gather market intelligence and report activity from your territory on a weekly basis. Your performance will be measured by monthly sales targets. Your time will be split between working at our production facility in Leduc, Alberta and travelling in your territory, approximately 50% travel is required. Technical Sales Reps need a vehicle and valid driver’s license.
We’re looking for someone with at least 5 years of direct business to business territory sales experience. Ideally, you have technical and custom selling experience. It goes without saying, your professional presentation, communication skills and computer skills are top notch. Our sales team is compensated with a base salary plus commission program, a vehicle allowance, smart phone, laptop and benefits.
