M5500-8 Commercial

The Aspen M5500-8 Commercial trailer is designed and built by the same team that brings you Aspen’s heavy haul and super haul products. This trailer is 53 feet overall with 26 feet of wide open deck and 116 inch gooseneck swing, meaning you can get under the trailer with your 4 axle tractor without being punished by the extra weight and hassle of flipping an extension. The Aspen M5500-8 comes standard with swing-out outriggers, protected air lines, wide gooseneck support arm, apitong decking and rear frame ready for flip 4th axle or 14′-1” spread single axle booster. This 55 Ton hydraulic removable gooseneck lowboy can be customized with only the options you want, so you’re not paying in weight or expense for options you don’t need. Aspen customers can choose from options such as 9hp Honda engine, bolted load bearing wheel covers, air lift 3rd axle, locking chain basket, flip 4th axle and 14′-1″ spread single axle booster. Not all 55 Ton contractor style trailers offer the features and flexibility of Aspen’s latest design.

 

EM-Series

Aspen’s EM-Series (Equipment Series) trailers are equipment/machinery hauling trailers which primarily serve the construction industry. Configurations vary from payloads of 35 tons through 55 ton capacities, with axle configurations ranging from 6 through 8 axles (including truck axles). Aspen EM-Series trailers feature mechanical removable (machinery) or hydraulic removable neck (contractor) configurations with double drop, square tails. EM-Series trailers can be configured with a variety of components including various deck widths, lengths, styles (flush, flush extendable), pin-on modules, and custom options like mini decks are easily integrated. The EM-Series trailers have common air/regulated air suspensions and can be integrated with a booster when required. Aspen’s EM-Series of trailers are available in specific regional configurations to maximize trailer configurations for specific regional regulations.

E-Series

Aspen’s E-Series (Equipment Series) trailers are equipment/machinery hauling trailers which primarily serve the construction industry. Configurations vary from payloads of 55 tons through 85 ton capacities, with axle configurations ranging from 8 through 13 axles (including truck axles). Aspen E-Series trailers are highly modular with “plug and play” components which allows flexibility in changing trailer configurations. Goosenecks are hydraulically removable which can be connected to a variety of decks including double drop configurations in flush, cantilever (drop side) with square tail rear frames. The E-Series trailers have common air/regulated air suspensions and are available in specific regional configurations to maximize trailer configurations for specific regional regulations.

EX-Series

Aspen’s EX-Series (Equipment Series) extreme duty trailers are equipment/machinery hauling trailers which primarily serve the construction & logging industries and are capable of both on road and off road applications. Configurations vary from payloads of 55 tons through 75 ton capacities, with axle configurations ranging from 9 through 11 axles (including truck axles). Aspen EX-Series trailers feature hydraulic removable necks with double drop, square or beaver tails. EX-Series trailers can be configured with a variety of components including various deck widths and lengths including custom options. The EX-Series trailers have common air/regulated air suspensions or a wheeler suspension (16 wheel or 24 wheel air ride suspensions) and can be integrated with a booster when required. Aspen’s EX-Series of trailers are available in specific regional configurations to maximize trailer configurations for specific regional regulations. A common Aspen trailer in this series is the Aspen Ironhorse trailer, specifically designed for the British Columbia market which has severe operating applications.

EW-Series

EW-Series trailers can be configured with a variety of components including various deck widths and lengths including custom options. The EW-Series trailers have common air/regulated air suspensions or walking beam (trunnion) suspensions with transporter equalization achieved by a mechanical equalizing inner frame “Cali-Legal” or “West Coast” design. Aspen’s EW-Series of trailers are available in specific regional configurations (Interstate – US and Canada, US North West, and California) to maximize trailer configurations for specific regional regulations.

W-Series

Configurations vary from payloads of 35 tons through 85 ton capacities, with axle configurations ranging from 7 through 13 axles (including truck axles). Aspen W-Series transporters feature front and rear Schnabel necks or front Schnabel with a rear saddle mounted on another type of hauling unit. W-Series trailers have common air/regulated air suspensions or walking beam (trunnion) suspensions with transporter equalization achieved by a mechanical equalizing steerable dolly or a 3 axle rear dolly equipped with a saddle.

WB-Series

Aspen’s WB-Series of trailers have a payload of 35 tons, with axle configurations of 7 or 8 axles (including truck axles). Aspen WB-Series transporters feature master/slave full time active steering and telescope from 53’ to 160’ in length. WB-Series trailers have common air/regulated air suspensions.

P-Series

Aspen’s P-Series (Petroleum Series) folding gooseneck trailers are designed for hauling skid mounted loads which primarily serve the Energy (Oilfield) industry and are suitable for both on road and off road applications. Configurations vary from payloads of 40 tons through 70 ton capacities, with axle configurations ranging from 8 through 13 axles (including truck axles). Aspen P-Series trailers feature folding goosenecks with single drop and tail roll frames. P-Series trailers can be configured with various deck widths, lengths and styles (flush deck, extendable) including custom options. The P-Series trailers have common air/regulated air suspensions with transporter equalization achieved by combinations of jeeps & boosters with common air/regulated air suspensions. Aspen’s P-Series of trailers are available in specific regional configurations (Interstate – US and Canada) to maximize trailer configurations for specific regional regulations. Common Aspen configurations include 3, 4 and 5 axle configurations with both tail rolls and flip over tail rolls.
